I know their are other threads, but give me your best zombie ideas. Be serious please, so if someone say "What about a zombie with minguns for arms" You are a Thot.
Im giving away FOUR copys of State of Decay 2 over on my youtube channel
i tried this mission and lost my best character (marcus) and i lost another random surivior so im not sure how to finish this mission
I have apparently unlocked Roy, but never got him? And even tho we're up to breakdown level 33, we've never seen him. What's up with that?
I have purchased Sate of Decay: YOSE on Steam and used a trainer to unlock all the weapons in the game to see if there is anything exciting awaiting or hidden somewhere in Trumbull. I have discovered the following and will elaborate where I can:
Bench Barbell - Barbell with a weight at the end, essentially a homemade mace
Firefighter's Universal Tool - Looks to be a Halligan tool (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halligan_bar)
Firefighter's Brush Hook - Firefighter variant of a Brush Axe
Fire Access Tool - Looks to be a variant of a Kwik Access Tool
CLEO Wrecker - Might be inspired by the TNT/Denver Tool (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denver_tool)
I have purchased Sate of Decay: YOSE on Steam and used a trainer to unlock all the weapons in the game to see if there is anything exciting awaiting or hidden somewhere in Trumbull. I have discovered the following and will elaborate where I can:
Juggling Baton - Selfexplanatory, two-handed
Swing Training Bat - Selfexplanatory, two-handed
Strength Training Bat - Selfexplanatory, two-handed
Cricket Bat - Selfexplanatory, two-handed
Curl Bar - Gym equipment, two-handed
CLEO Cra-B - One-handed club
Bike Polo Mallet - Two-handed sports equipment
It should be the among the most safe homes in the game based on it's location.
except its not. the areas around it are constantly swarming with zombies. hordes will be knocking down your doors given the lack of good outpost locations. and lets not forget about the freaks. yeah you'll be running into a LOT more of them than you would in the city.
then there's the infestations that never seem to let up. the list goes on.
i'd actually feel more safe at the ranger station. seriously why are things a thousand time more dangerous in the middle of nowhere than in the center of a huge town? this game's logic makes no sense to me.
To be honest, in YOSE they could have added a few more heroes, I mean I wouldn't mind having Milo Eldridge as a hero for ex.
Starting a new game of breakdown and livin on the road. No home, just my backpack. Suggestions as to what adventure i shall persue. On foot or with a vehicle? (Vehicles have extra storage.
I've been playing SOD for a while and I've tried every hero and surely most of the random survivors, so that got me wondering what do you all consider to be the best and worst heroes?
My own list:
Best: Amelia Crasman - The Fighter
Has my favorite trait, powerhouse (Even though her description sounds like she should have nimble, I dunno) Has a personal skill, fitness guru (Not the most useful but it's better than cooking or some other common personal skill.) Has maxed out cardio and fighting from the beginning (It takes much longer to get stamina penalties due to this.) Has a very weak but light pistol (I only use guns on bloaters anyway.) Has no initial specialization (Yay, heavy weapons build!)
Worst: Alan Gunderson - The Killer
Has no personal skills or traits that grant defensive skills. Only has shooting as being maxed out, It is also pre-specialized. (I hate gun specializations.) Has a ridiculous 50. cal that he can't even carry without being encumbered. (The only good thing you can do with it is to give it to someone and hope they man the watchtower.) Has that stupid autocrat trait ensuring he thoroughly pisses off every single person at home. Is also entirely dependent on luck for his unlock requirements. (Luckily I got the mercy shot mission fairly early.)
To avoid cluttering the Trivia page (and all of these are speculations and not facts), I've moved all the possible sources of inspiration for the Screamers here. Below are a few of them:
So, if you guys know any thing else that can be an inspiration (appearance or gameplay-wise) for the Screamers in any media, you can discuss them here. Note that they must make a public appearance in 2009-2010 or earlier to qualify.
Howdy I just wanna know other peoples favorite survivors. Mine is Cash (Dont remember his last name) and I also like Omar and Marcus
A recent edit added this to the Trivia section, which I moved here.
While it is in no way confirmed, some speculate that Joel Macon may in fact be the "Biker Steve" that is mentioned if a character is rescued, aided, etc. with the Storyteller trait. This theory is supported in that, according to the story, Biker Steve's name might not have even been Steve, he "was 115 pounds soaking wet" (Macon's character model is indeed on the thin side), and both are noted as being alcoholics.
Due to my weird belief that the wiki should be putting verifiable information, not speculation on the pages, I've moved that part here, sorry 69.88.160.236.
Anyway, raise your opinion here. Do you think the two are one? Why? And play nice with each other.
