My ideal Easter egg would be something like a reference to PROTOTYPE, no matter how subtle or fleeting. Y'know, like graffiti saying: "GONE TO NYZ." or "BLACK FEVER - BLACKLIGHT - WE STILL DIE." Or a Survivor making a mention of one of the Characters from the PROTOTYPE series, like: "Used to know a doctor called Mercer, hope he's okay." or, "I used to be in the Marines, knew this guy called Heller. I'm sure as hell that guy ain't dead yet." Or referencing a faction, saying things like: "Why hasn't that Blackwatch group I've heard so much about swooped in yet?" or, "Ain't Gentek working on a cure for this, yet?"
Anyone else got any Ideal Easter eggs that they'd like to see in the game?
This is something I came up with. What if SoD had a character customization system, similar to that of ARMA with a bit more customization in the way of clothing and appearance. Come up with you own ideal survivors if you fancy.

I was walking through the County court house interior when I suddenly felt the urge to compare it to the RPD Station in RE2. I played the main hall music and almost immediately felt like I was inside of the station. It seems that everything from the court room and the jail cells can be compared to the RPD, like with the court room being compared by myself to the RPD briefing room and the jail cells to the basement. That ground floor corridor at the back of the building also brought a tad bit of nostalgia into the fold. Anybody else get that?

Some kind of sword but it is like the axe of the edged weapons. 90 influence to take out, level 5 durability, would be great. Because there is only 2 level 5 edged weapons the machine cutting blade and the tactical tomahawk. It would be great to have one more. A samari sword. Michonnes Katana or something along those lines, any thoughts or suggestions?
Imagine being able to build a new settlement from scratch around your base or clear out a town. I first came up with this thought when I was still in McReady's ranch. The idea was building tents, shacks and stuff around the ranch and having a large sustainable population. You would manage this new settlement kinda like a city simulator. You can also give pre-apocalypse buildings functions like making one a mechanics, a police station, a public house, residential etc. or build these in empty spaces. Off topic imagine if female survivors could get pregnant, it would be just adding more stress for the community.
you find yourself looking at buildings and thinking they might be a good home base or wondering what kind of potential loot you'd find inside.
just a thought after my drive to work.
I love it when developers do stuff like this. And the food! Deeee-licious! Those pictures...that's how food advertising SHOULD be done.
Am I the only one who really wants the option to light up the home base at night? I've been reading that this was cut, but it seems like a given for a zombie apocalypse. I know it would make noise and attract zombies, but who would want to sit in a dark house with zombies running around? I think it would make home base feel more like a safe haven. Just my thoughts.
